Default Warn Winch rope

I was curious if anyone uses the 8ft Warn winch rope specific for plowing? I was wondering if it was worth the $30

thanks

Several years ago I tried the synethic rope, it wasn't the Warn brand but equivalant to it. In my case it didn't work well due to a down pressure system I have. For people just running a plow it would be fine though. It sure saves on the steel cable. On my system I eventually figured out how to attach the synethic rope to the winch so I would end up with four ropes running from the winch to the plow and that has worked fine. Been using the same rope now for the last two winters with no problems. Once I fugured out how to attach it I bought a roll of the rope. Been selling it to people around here and showing them how to attach it. So far no one has reported any problems. You can look at my pictures to get an idea of how my system works.

Reb, you should add the ability to angle the plow to your system.

The blade will angle now but it is manual. I assume you mean a power angle system which I have a couple ideas how I would approach that but just don't have the time right now. Thanks for the input.

Cool. It seems to me that if Mibar would add a power angle option to their unit, it would be a big seller.
