Default Why do some quads feel faster than others

My Honda 300has always felt slow, even when I was going 45 mph, but I rode my cousins 06 Honda Rancher at 4X4 today, and I was going about 35mph, but it felt like freaking 70mph. Is it the aerodynamics or something? Does a Grizzly 700 feel fast?

its teh difference in handling, as well as where the motor makes its power.

As far as the grizz 700 yhea it will feel fast.

Alot has to do with how high you sit off the ground, and how twitchy the steering is.

My Grizzly 700 felt smooth and steady cruising along at 50 mph in the Nevada desert today, ... right up until I overshot that one turn, and had to play 50 yards worth of I can save it, in the pucker brush and cactus. At about that point it felt like it was going really really fast, LOL.
