I need advice for snow plowing
I've got a 01 Kodiak 400 w/a 50in Moose blade and electric lift. I've plowed with it about 1/2 a dozen times now and loved it until the last snow. While making some piles the wet heavy packable snow would stick to the blade and the electric lift sometimes didn't have enough power to lift the blade with all the weight, so I would have to get off and kick the snow off the blade, other than that wonderful. Its belt driven and I've had no problems slipping. I do many driveways, the sidewalks in town and our parking lot (hair salon). I plow in high almost always, only needing low on occaison. After the last snow I have contomplated getting a winch, I believe it would be more useful all year around. But the 400 has had more than enough power to push anything
