I thought this was interesting. The information is from CARB (California Air Resource Board).

AC 1000_________65.84 hp
Can Am 800______61.7 hp
Can Am 650______55.4 hp
Brute 750 Carb____50.1 hp
Polaris 800_______50.1 hp
Brute 750 EFI_____49.8 hp
King Quad 750____49.6 hp
King 700_________48.5 hp
Grizzly 700________45.6 hp
Polaris 700_______44.3 hp
AC 700 H1_______41.4 hp
AC 700__________41.4 hp
Grizzly 660_______40.9 hp
Can Am 500______40.4 hp
AC 650 H1_______39.3 hp

Thanks for posting that. Is that from the crank or the wheels? Did they also list the sportys?

Can-am sure knows how to make hp if that list is correct. Too bad Can-am will be moving atv production to Mexico in the next few years. If that ends up being true, I don't think I could buy one.

Since they were Can-Am, then Bombardier, then BRP and now Can-Am again - When they move things south will they change the name to Mex-Am? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I was thinking of getting one. Looking forward to their SXS if and when it ever gets here.

Whats the torque measurments? Torque is what counts.

Arctic Cat needs to put that 65 hp Thunder Cat motor in their Prowler, ... and beef up the axles accordingly.
