What type of winch to buy

Ive owned both, and lets put it this way , i have the Warn on my quad and not the superwinch.

How is the best way to brake in the winch I know it says to pull about 1000 lbs but that is hard to do when the atv only ways 600. Or did any body atually brake theres in ?????

well I used mine for some snow plowing this winter, and that gives it a good workout.

Your not really breaking it in, your streching the cable. I used my van in netral while someone held the break just enough to put some tension on the cable while rolling the cable back in.
