To wjptcs, I was concerned about the things I've been reading here and in another forum with the topics of lifted polaris front ends. I'm going to try the polaris "firm" front springs and a 1/2" lift spacer kit. The stock springs are 60/116# a duel weight spring, the firm is a straight 100# it should take out the setin sag of the stock machine. My lift will be made friday (special thanks to my lath operator at work)the springs should be here fri. or mon.,the 27" xt's will be here fri. also. I should soon find out how my plan works.

Let me know how it works, i am getting tired of my bi claws rubbing the front fenders on every hard bump and turn. If stiffer springs are available (from polaris) that may help a bunch.

OK: everything is on! The test drive went well except on VERY fast bumps (aprox.12" or deeper)it did rub a little, so I used a rasp and file to remove some plastic on the seam lines, no more rubbing! I hope with this setup the CV's will be ok? I think I'll have my lath friend make some steering stops to shorten the turn radius(this seems to be most peoples problems with CV breakage)just to be on the safe side.

polaris sucks at first but if you can get the factory to stand by there warranty, usually after the third or fourth engine they get it right and by the way there drive system sucks come on a belt driven shaft only polaris could figure out a way to by pass a drive shaft and use a less reliable belt but hats of to them that must have taken a clan of morons. Arctic cat is the only way to go more torque, more towing, more rack capacity, more reliable, and just better.
