I had a warn plow and it did,nt even make one season. Now I've got a Moose plow and this will be my second year with it and no problems yet. The Moose plow seems to be better reinforced and heavier built than the Warn.Good Luck!

 

I know this is offtopic, but would i be able to plow snow with a trailboss 325 with chains? i wanna make some money this winter, and i want to be sure the trailboss can handle it before i buy a plow.

 

it should, but is it 4wd? the main thing if it is not 4wd is never try to pust too much at 1 time, as long as you angle the blade enough you should be fine. also id look for a used plow, i paid 225 for my plow,frame, and manual lift! hey cammoman, being where you are and all the snow you get its no wonder that you wore one out, but still seems odd that you acctually wore it out???!!!mine is 3 yrs old, the guy i got my warn plow from used it 2 yrs and ive yet to hit the snow this yr, but i have done landscaping and it is only dirty! what broke or wore out on yours? just so i can better inspect mine. i cant say anything bad about the warn plow....not yet anyway!

 

the trailboss is only 2WD...that sucks...i think ill get a used plow, and if it dont work too good, ill sell it..

 

You will be able to plow with your trailboss....a lot of people around here still use the 3-wheelers for plowing....obviously you won't be able to push what you can with a 4wd, but i think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you can push with a 2wd.

 

A good reliable machine: Honda TRX 300, or a Forman 450. Should be able to buy either bikes aroud 4 years old or newer, but the 300 has been discontinued and replaced by the 350 if your looking for something new.

 

Can you really plow snow with a 3-wheeler?
i have never seen anyone do it.
how would you mount the plow so the front wheel wouldn't rub against it when you turned the wheel?

 

I can't tell you how the plow is mounted on a 3-wheeler, but a lot of people around this area still have the old honda 3-wheelers and i see them quite often plowing snow...so it can be done....i know that my fathers ATC 110 is useless for plowing but the 250 Big Reds do a decent job...a friend of mine just bought a used plow for his big bear...it came from a fella who used it on a 3-wheeler...so it is possible to plow with a 3-wheeler.

 

a couple of weeks ago there was a minibike on Ebay with a plow. said it had a gear reduction, and had a bar type tire in the rear (like a tractor).
