Pictures from my WAY BACK machine
#1
Thought I would share these moto inspired pictures from the vault of thejunkman's WAYBACK machine. These go back before I was even an embryo. These are pictures of my mom and dad riding in the 70's. These happen to be at Red Cone/Webster Pass here in Colorado (a place I frequent quite often. Just thought I would throw these out there. Shows a little bit of the pedigree I come from. :B
Base camp: 1968?? International 3/4 ton pickup, 1974 Yamaha SC500, 1966 Yamaha YJ2 60cc (notice the 60 tooth overlay sprocket on the rear) Still have these bikes, the pickup was traded long ago on a brand new F250 in 1985

At the bottom before the bit accent.

At the top looking over Montezuma

One of many water crossings

I have more of me and my bikes, but this will get it started.

Great nostalgic look at the past. My father didn't ride a bike or quad, but always was taking the family rig as far into the woods as it could go. Raised me to be an outdoorsman. Wouldn't trade that for all the world's hobbies. I can see where you get your off road passion.

how back then you hopped on the "little" 2 strokes and rode forever in those areas. Now we need 700+ cc 4x4, IRS, Rotopaxes, ride like a Cadillac ATV's to ride half as much as they did. Must be great memories.
