Just got back from Deepwater today with my 2 young boys, it was awesome, my 5 year old did great on the north open area, took a small ride around part of the lake it was pretty muddy in some spots but not too bad, can't wait to go again. Deepwater is their favorite spot to ride now, went to finger lakes 2 weeks ago, terrible for the boys, trails were muddy and rutted bad, even the kiddy track was in bad shape, went last nov, it was great (drought) but I won't go back unless it doen't rain for a while.

 

Deepwater won't be bad on a 250r. Got a friend with his and he doesn't have any problems. Nor do I on my Shee. Finger Lakes is not worth the drive to me, always rutted out real bad. Too much work helping the kids get around. Its got a few places that I like but I'd much rather go to Deepwater and ride.
