MOAB
I went there back in October. Pretty cool place to ride. Check out www.funtreks.com they have a book of 4x4 trails, you can ride an atv on a lot of them, I think. You just can't ride in Arches or Canyonlands National Parks. I rode at a place called Kane Creek Canyon.

Going to Moab "SOON"?? It's gonna be HOT!
I usually go there the end of October and again in April or early May - avoiding the Easter Jeep Safari.
Are you looking for Motels, campgrounds, or places to camp free (no facilities)?
What kind of riding do you want to do? Places like Poison Spider or Pritchett Canyon are fun, but pretty extreme. You wouldn't want to go there alone or without a guide if you don't know your way around. There are lots of trails to pick from though. An excellent map of this area can be obtained locally at many stores in Moab, or directly from

You will want the Moab West map for these trails.
Take the time to browse my photo albums, and by all means, DON'T skip the 1998 Moab photos on page 2 of my albums - there are some really nice shots in there.
Here is a link to the official Moab Information webpage.
Good luck, have fun, and BE SAFE!
