NORTHWEST RIDERS, June 21 ride, who can make it???
The topic arose in another thread,,,and it would be a good chance for all the atvconnectionNW gang to meet.
I have talked to many of you NWerners in the past year and hope we can have a fun turnout.
So far we have confirmations from me, techtip, and a few others from the other thread.
We havent decided on a location. Any ideas?????
All welcome!!!

Hey Bing,
Where do you have in mind? From my experience if there are families with little people, some of the ORV parks may be a bit too technical. I think the Rock Candy entrance to Captial Forest offers something for every one though. We've been down there twice. But, Im looking forward to going to the Middle Waddell side too. If you do go in on the Rock Candy side, its about a 20-30 min ride to the Antenna farm and the veiw from there is awesome. All of my rides, I have digital photos of and Im going to have to look into one of those sites like you use to post the pics.

Hey Bing,
Couple of things. Is that area at Tahuya the Eiffendall Rd staging area? Also, how do you get to the threat that allows the pics to be posted? As far as kids, my wife and I dont have any left (yea!!!!). But I know others may. The reason I brought up the Capital Peak ride, is its wide open logging roads all the way up. And at the top, when we got there, there was a group of 15-20 riders (families), that were just starting to go back down, after eating lunch. What machines are you riding these days?

The spot at Tahuya that I refer to is not Effendahl staging area. One of the camps there (Spillman???), has a road that goes all the way thru camp. There is a larger section (more private) in the back (less traffic). It is a large circular spot that can accomodate about 5-6 large parties (or rigs).
The effendahl staging area is about 3/4 mile away, by trail.
The spot has plenty of tree cover, pit toilet, and I believe they have running water at the campground down the road. Other than that, no hookups.
