Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Of course it's an open invite, it'll be the first time I take the new truck with the new trailer with the new quad to the dunes, I'll be taking my tree pruner in order to make a scratch free path to the back forty, I think you know which ones I'm talking about

It's alittle early to make solid plans, but we plan on arriving around 7:00pm Friday night and leaving around 11:00am Sunday morning.

TP- you gonna run SS this weekend?

Oh ya, I forgot you gave up speedway stuff like Brandon, I retract my statement/ question.
My shoulder got hurt 2 weeks ago. I don't know that I'll get to run TT on the 28th. I want to bad but I'll have to see in the next few days. As far as the big track goes, I don't have enough power to pull with the big quads. It would be like donating money.

I'm doing it just to say I got to ride it. And for me it is valuable seat time that I need oh so bad! The big Quads? what the hell man? You need me to set you up with a 15/ 36 combo so you can just run the heck out of 4th gear?
15/36 you are crazy!
right now I'm runnin 14/36 in 4th gear at Hannegan. (2.56) might bolt on the 15/37 (2.47) for skagit!

New question, this one for my Raptor.

I'm looking for someone to fine tune my Raptor (2001 660R). I have adjusted the valves a couple time but still get a little more tap than I like and even though I have jetted the carbs numerous times and adjusted the floats (did a lot of research first) It still only runs 95% like it should. I get stalls after long steep climbs or running in a bowl doing circles for a few minutes it starts to sputter and cut out.

I want someone who really know Raptors and has a good rep. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm near Renton/Kent/Aub etc.

Thanks

you need to talk to BigD: OFC: or Happarap. Hi this is Brenda, Maggiesboy's wife. Nice of you to join our "little" group. You will enjoy us if you get to know us.

post that in the yamaha forum as a new thread

you will most likely end up with one carb, a few more horses and a slimmer wallet

i gave up after a while,,,,,the stock setup is crap

if your gettin 95%,,,,you should be happy

95% is under the best circumstances like going in a straight line. It starts to bog when doing some serious climbing and that's the worst time. I have read a lot about the single carbs but $600? Ouch!

I was going to post in the Yamaha section but realized everyone from everywhere would be reading it and I'm really looking for someone here in WA so this would be a better place to get opinions on local mechanics; agreed?

I think Pacific Raceways has taken a toll on my poor shocks, if you could see the video you would know why
I gotta go through and check everything to make sure nothing is broke and still holding together.
I'll keep an eye out and will make it if we can

No grudge race needed though it's all good
