Good Morning PSAR Brothers and Sisters
Great post BigDaddy on the race results, you are correct in your statements
As far as my race results, I couldn't even get Julie on her 250EX to line up against me, I surely missed out in the races, but I did make many passes by myself at break-in speed as the others were snickering on the starting line
My take on the 700R:
RaptorRandy27's 700R with the stock baffle/sparky replaced by an aftermarket sparky, lid off with stock foam filter and the Power Commander installed was just plain fast, I took one pass on it, it is as fast or faster than my 660R with no airbox and full system. With a full system and better breathing filter this thing is going to be really fast, it just needs to be uncorked. It still needs a +4 swingarm though, in heavy sand with good hookup in 2nd, it still points to the sky on takeoff
It handles nothing like a 660R, not even close, you can't toss it around as easily as the 450's, but it comes real close, it never felt tippy whatsoever, it takes whoops much better but still needs atleast YFZ shocks up front, it is a pure joy to ride opposed to the 660R
Fifth gear still falls on it's face, somebody will figure that one out
As with most quads, you need to put money into it in order to hang with the bigger boys, but the bolt on's are gonna make this quad one heck of a ride, replacement parts needed:
Full system, K&N filter with billet adapter, power commander, +4 swingarm, gearing, YFZ front shocks = $2,200

I am serious about my offer though, if you need it, let me know and it's yours. I have no reservations about lending it to you. Have a great day!

Good mornin' PSAR
Sounds like everyone had a great time at the litter box.
Going to be sad missing those pictures of Happa being towed back in though

Good post Hap,
Your take on the 700R pretty much sums up my impression as well. I was pretty suprised at how well they perform pretty much stock.
I see you have your parts list all though up I'll look for that sparky and send you a link when I find it. For the price you can't go wrong untill a good full system becomes avalible.
Thanks again for yesterday everyone! Julie and I were talking about it again this morning and we are really looking forward to the Florence trip and meeting some more members of this fine group.
