If I had it all to do over again I'd go w/ mudlites on the c-series!! They will billy goat thru anything but for speed there not good
That's what I had heard to I need something that does well at high speeds as though, that's why I was thinking XTR's were kinda a happy medium but maybe not ???

MudLite XTR's with some ITP class C wheels T-7's, mine will be enroute net payday The XTR's are great mud tires but the lug patern is closer together so it is a smoother ride with longer wear. Word is they make good sand tires too
XTR's are a very heavy tire..... and they don't self clean well at all
They may be too heavy for a 420cc, but they wouldn't be for a big bore would they? What's your choice for tire?
With tires (the larger 650cc quads and up exempted), If you increase tire diameter you change the overall final drive ratio the wrong way and beat up on acceleration and top speed. Tire weight does have an effect, but not near as much as the diameter increase. I would never (and didn't either) go to a larger diameter tire on my 400, they just plain rob to much torque to the rear wheels and beat up on the top speed.
Agree with yeah there my stockers are 24" and the smallest XTR's they make are 25" so I will just have to eat an inch But I am conserned now about what MB said about self cleaning, Huge lugs are not worth a chit if they are filled with crud all the time.

That's a sweet machine, I'm anxious to see it run. Now this is getting fun!

No disclaimer required for me my friend... the smack talk is what makes it fun, the reality is in the time-slip... and the hardware .

My oh my... setting the bar with the predapuss... 800cc vs. 574cc? Just to level the playing field out a little, I'll run NOS. Still haven't had the nads to put the Boss Noss system on yet. That will happen soon though. I just have to have some brackets fabbed up to mount the bottle. Once I get that done, I'll call up Glen and we'll get 'er installed. We'll have to go to Beverly for some test and tune... maybe a lil' ars kickin' .

Good to hear from ya BigD!

Let's get this chit runnin' for the drags! I plan on renting the Albany track again in the spring.

Disclaimer: naw... there ain't no freakin' disclaimer... Line 'em up !

Isn't that when you would install something along the lines of a Dalton Clutch Kit, to change the gearing?

Yeah, but you never worry about top speed anyway. Heck, if you're worried about speed, ride a sporty, right?
