Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Good morning PSAR.

Weeman & I spent some of the bosses profits this morning. We join the crew at Linda's for some breakfast

Went to the Barn and steam cleaned the Kodylack, when I finished the wash, A big red truck was tooting it's horn southbound on the 5. I dialed him up so Weeman could chat at him Gonna head out and change the oil here in a few minutes.

Kymmy, I found a renegade solo grip in my file cabinet yesterday, it is now on Kody. I decided it was time to retire/ chitcan the left one

Anytime your ready to head this way...bring it. Missing body panels, sides.

2mny, have you researched the quad failure yet?
That will be today's project... Wash them then look at mine. I know it has to be something simple...
Probably just a wire came loose.

Yeah, but the old pony motor, armstrong steering, cable blade, manual tilt and angle, open two inch thick seat, short track, low speed ones sucked the worst.
I spent many hours on a TD14 farm cat that still had the hand crank start....mostly used it to pull a disk and pull start the pony D4 & D8...and as far as seat on that thing you had whatever pad you brought with you
Only TD 14's we had were direct electric start. The older TD 35's and TD 40's were hand crank, started the main engine on gas and after it was warm kicked it over to diesel.

An now folks are putting tracks on their quads go figure, think I'll stick with the rubber donuts.

Anyone know about riding in the Reno/Sparks NV area? I was thinking it would be fun to set up a ride/casino weekend or something of that nature. Who has some first or second hand info?

I googled up some stuff but have never trusted what I find in advertisements after we got burned with one package trip. Like to find someone who has knowledge of the area.

Just think! Four or five days of desert riding and nights at the casinos and shows. And buffets.

Donna Juan and Dirtmomma made a pitstop to bring me the front rack and steering stabilizer for the Kodylack. Kymmy smiled after her "test ride", so I guess I'm doing okay

Weeman I ran the winch out and tested it on the blazer. Works really well.

Now I need to get Weeman's jug and crankshaft, and install the last O-ring in Brandon's 80. Off to the garage

The trip to the garage sucked!

Got ready to fire the LT80 off and the battery was low, so I start hooking up the spare battery Tender leads and the positive post twists off of the battery I grab the spare LT battery and it has less than a single volt in it

I take the jug off the trike so I can replace the piston.... all went well there. Someone in this house decides that I don't need lights on while working to get the circlips out of the piston. Ya, those are easy to see in the dark. Not even an I'm sorry, or did you need these on...... hello......jack holes.

Polaris makes a rock solid quad... but a really f@#k'd up design.

The carb came off it's boot. On a sporty it hangs between the boot and the airbox. On the scrammy it is mounted to the frame. I think the engine got knocked forward and pulled the carb off it's boot. When I looked in there the boot was smashed between the carb and the head. I didn't think I hit that hard, but things move. That carb is a real pain to get into the boot and then mounted to the frame...

Interesting enough, the choke now works...
