Arctic Fox says never to cover my camper with the cover touching the roof.
That would be a chore...

The cover I purchased is breathable, designed for our type of weather, not to trap moisture. It did it's job just fine, I didn't see growth of any kind when I took it off. Just the roof was still chalking and the water carried it down the side of the motorhome, leaving streaks of white. It's no big deal to wash it off and it is the nature of those kind of roofs. Those RV's with white colored walls don't notice it as much, just looks dull. Mine has full body paint and shows it off quite well. The cover definately helps, but there are some draw backs.

We've been toying with the idea of building/buying a new house. When that happens, everything will have covered space.
That is what I'm thinking we'd cover ours but that would be a total PIA when we drive it so often!!!!! WE leave ours uncovered w/ no issues, just a little green slime haha nothing a good washing after winter won't take care of!! Our old MH had a full metal roof VERY nice, this one is like white rubber not as durable I don't think but no leaks YET!!
But then again we don't have them big fancy Barbie buses & campers ours is practical haha
for what we do anyway(ie. racing, cunes) I would hate to have to yell @ everyone when they came in a fancy bus

We never covered the other motorhome because we used it all year long. I'm not terribly interested in driving this bus on the snow and ice, can't even get chains for it, or even the on-spot chains. That's ok for us though, if we need to go somewhere in the winter, it's usually only for a night or two and we get a motel. It's difficult to not track anything into the RV's, taking the muddy boots off is a PIA, that's why we got the enclosed trailer... it doesn't have carpet so we don't have to worry about tracking stuff in or worry about muddy clothes, or the occasionally spilled beer. Besides,it's nice to take a shower and put on some clean clothes and doze off in a leather recliner after a day of riding... .

Do you not do snow?
Don't care to drive in it up on the pass where doh doh heads are driving way too fast and not carrying chains, they can slam into you in a moments notice. I'll hit Les Schwab this week and pick up a set of chains for my F350.
Ah, your F350 is 4X4, why the need for chains?
Because when you have them, you will never need them. If they are on the shelf at Les Shwab, you are in the ditch wishing different. I have a set of tire iron in my pickemup truck.

Good morning PSAR
I don't show up very often here. I have yet to be out riding this year also. I need to get out so my daughter and I can try out new toys. I sold her purple 300ex last week and still need to sell my blue Raptor 660 but our new ones are ready to go, her white 350 and my white 700 Raptor want/need to get dirty.

So, where/when is the next ride? My only problem is I work most Saturdays but with some warning I might be able to get one off.
