Only if it rains. But you knew that.

You ever been to Gorman B&RW?
I've been once. Memorial '03. I'd probably like it more now than I did then as I was just learning. Only had my quad 3 mos at that point.

I want to go back again, just not a big travel weekend with all the traffic heading that way. Not sure when I'll be able to do it. Have to find someone to truck pool with. This gas is flipping INSANE! I'm starting to sock money away from each check to go riding. And any extra money I make on the side goes in there as well. But it's not much. The only holiday weekend I even consider traveling on is memorial day and I havnt done that in a few years. The thing I remember most about Gorman was very little airborne dust. And it was dry when we were there too. At least with dirt bikes. Last time I was there was a while ago, oldest was on the yz80 and youngest was on the xr75. Yes its been quite a while now that I think about it.

I just keep paying for gas, and I've slowed back down to the speed limit again too. minivan goes from 20 to 25 mpg for 77-80 mph vs 70 mph. At 600 miles a week with ot, it adds up.

Gotta get some rest. Catch you tomorrow B&RW.

I generally don't mind travelling, if traffic is running fine. Worst time I ever had was Labor Day '02. Hwy 41 backed up ALMOST to 46. Seen guys flippin U-turns with TTs and THs on the wide spots.

It was pretty darn dusty when I was there. We were in Lower Scrub Campground. Right on a little trail (not passable by anything more than a Jeep if you cared about your paint) to the next CG to the south.

That's all we all can do. I've slowed down as well. I peg the spedo at the speed limit and hold it there. I coast to the signals if it's red. Gotta make a run up north next week to a job site and bring back a scissor lift. Small one. So I'm gonna take the 150. Even bad mileage on that while towing won't touch the "good" mileage of the 450 with the 460.

Catch you on the flip side MWQ.

I might take it somewhere and see if they can patch it instead.

If I am situated at the new house, I would like too Especially with the wife's new bike. Haven't taken it out yet I'm sure you will post again By then, I should know.

The Zs do pretty good up there. And it's way smoother. We can work the down hills so it's easier on your shoulder. The uphills you end up jumping a lot. Maybe make a run to the tower.
