was at hollister this sat. and had a blast on the atv track. it is a little bumpy in the corners since dirt was put down on the track. but now i can get some air and distance. the trails seem to be more rough from 5 weeks ago. i will try to make it for the day on sat. i have not seen you guys since the poker run.

Ok, we're up to 85 or so people this weekend for Hollister. Anyone else interested?

I'm new here...
I'm just up the street from Hollister Hills. It's a cool place, but I'm looking for other places like Miami trails or Clear creek. Anybody know whre I can get some info on these places?
Thanks!

miami bike trailes is about 1 to 1hr and 15min. north of fresno. just 10min north of oakhurst on hwy 41. I do not know where clear creek is at. I hope this helps. other riding places like pismo, jawbone, hungry valley.

Fands: clear creak is over towards Coalinga. Basically it's on the eastern side of where Hollister is, but a bit more to the south. It's not a great place to ride in the summer....asbestos and all... Better when it's wet.
And nice seeing you again.
Forrest I take it you've been to Miami or do you need more info on it? There's a few other places up that way in the Sierra N.F. I haven't been on the east side of the San Joaquin River so I'm not too good on what's up there. Search google.com for "Miami Trails" and "Sierra National Forrest". You can get more info there, or just post here. There are a few locals that roam these halls.

Hey everyone. I will be moving down to Corona in November. I am not really sure how the registration works for ATV's. Do you guys have to register every year? What happens if you don't register on year and register the next?

You do not have to register your atv in California. However, you will not be able to ride your quad on public land or trasnport it in the back of your truck. This is geared more towards farmers. If you do register your quad (which I recommend) the registration is good for 2 years and cost only $25. For the most part, your money does go into the OHV program. At least I see improvements at our parks. If you decide not to register it and get caught riding it on public land, you will probably be cited and then have to register it.

B&R/W: thanks for the reply. I've never been to miami hills but hope to go next month. There are 3 of us, 2 quads and one MC who might try a day trip there. Where would you recommend to stage and ride for 4 hours or so?
Thanks.
