Hey all, been a long time since I've been here to the boards, hope everyone is well. I would appreciate suggestions of a good location for a day trip this coming weekend that's not to awful far from Corona/Elsinore.

We were planning on meeting some folks for a weekend trip to Ocotillo last weekend and didn't get to go and ride due to an injury by one of the afore mentioned folks, I owe my boys a trip out.

I appreciate the suggestions all, I look forward to hearing back.

 

We are going from Elsinore to Hungry Valley this weekend. Leaving early Friday to beat the LA traffic and coming home late Saturday night. I figure about a 2 1/2 hour drive with no traffic.

just bought the 700 raptor 2 weeks ago and just got back from pismo last weekend

 

Doorguy: We're in the Corona area too and where we're going this weekend (El Mirage) is just about the closest legal place to go. It only takes us around 45 minutes to get there. Do you know where it's at in Phelan off the 15 and 138 turnoff (towards Wrightwood)?

 

BARSTOW -- Hi Desert Charities will host a poker run Oct. 29-30 at the Slash X Cafe, 28040 Barstow Road.

The run is two loops of about 25 miles each, one for four-wheel vehicles and one for motorcycles and ATVs. The 12 best poker hands from each day wins. The entry fee is $25 or $20 and a new unwrapped toy. Each driver goes twice for single fee.

Dinner is at 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Slash X Cafe. It is an all-you-can-eat barbecue with chicken, ribs, beans, vegetable and bread. The cost is $12 each. All proceeds go to help Barstow charities.
