Hey hows it goin!
Coming up 41 its 7 miles past Oakhurst towards Yosemite. Youll see a sign that says Miami Trails or something with a motorcycle on it. Turn left into that intrance and follow that dirt road till you come to the staging area called Kamook. You can ride from there. Thats really the best place to start out for a first time miami rider.
If you want let me know before you go up and i could join you guys and show you around, since it can be easy to get lost. That place is practically my backyard.

 

To follow up Power's post you're probably 3.5 hrs or so. If you've ever gone into Yosemite via the Highway 41 (Southern Yosemite) entrance, you've driven right past it. The sign does say "Miami Motorcycle Trails" and the entrance is on the right side, just past the 4000' elevation. It's right at about 7 miles north of Highway 49. And definately take up Power's and my offer of a tour of the area.

One word, unless the trail looks like it's been recently worked on (you'll see like 8x8 posts and baricades there that are movable) take the rating of the trail with a 10lb bag of salt. Some of the green trails are like black diamonds at Hollister. But they are working on the trails (those Green Sticker fees at work.) We also know a few cool places to go.
