It's the backside of Jawbone. The main entrance is about 15 minutes north of Jawbone off the 14. You can ride there from Jawbone, fun ride too!

That's when we will be down there We usually camp around Pole 6, up by the bathrooms. There will be a crap load of trucks and campers there. To mark our camp, we have a Santa Claus on top of a Weekend warrior, and next to our trailer we have a a red/white and blue wind sock about 20 feet in the air If you see it, stop on by

Went to Gorman over the weekend - it was great! I love that place. Just FYI - They raised their overnight rates to $10 per night, but that's ok, it's worth it. We usually camp at Smith Forks campground.

All the state parks raised their camping fees to $10. Up here, $10 (even for primitive camping) is a bargain County parks charge $14.00 a night and $18 a night for full hook-up.

If I could make Pismo, I could make Jawbone. IIRC, they are within 10 miles distance wise. And Jawbone is probably a quicker drive with 2 hrs of 70 MPH down 99. And I don't have to change the tires, or drop air, or get stuck in the sand... I hadn't gone to Jawbone before because I thought it was like a 4 hr drive.
