Who is coming to run the six hundred foot (SMOOTH) strip on Labor Day weekend?

 

well i'll try to be there, but i may not make it, i got a lil job round the house, carperentering.

 

What day is everyone going ? I may go on saturday.

 

I will be there Saturday and Sunday with my tractor!!!!

I would love to be there but I am still recovering from the knife...I have a chechup witht he Dr. tommorrow and I will check and see what he has to say about a small trip....I have a feeling he will not like that to much....I am about to go crazy!!!!!!1 Have not been on my bike in 2 WEEKS! longest time I have gone without riding since the age of 6! Wish me luck!

 

Shaun, I hope you recover fast. I sure hope to see you at Sicily Island shortly. You will not believe how awesome the new track looks.

 

Is Sicily Island a organized race event track or is a play race track? Can you give some details?

Sicily Island is approx 360 acres of recreation riding that we have made a substantial amount of work on the dragstrip to get it into shape. The whole 360 acres is not totally developed and that is what we are working on at the present such as electrical outlets, showers and some other conveniences. It is new to the public and we are just trying to establish a place that the "People" want. Right now the only real sand dunes we have to ride and race in is La Dunes at Forest Hill, La. But the dunes and the track is so rough you get beat to death trying to race on it. Not to mention the people that get hurt by hitting all the whoops while trying to race.
