Depends on what you like.. Some riders like Disney some dont...Some like Salina some dont... Salina has a drag strip,Trails,Hill Climbs, Sand Bottom,Mud holes...When the water is down you can hit some chat piles...It can get pretty busy there on some days so If you dont like riders racing by you them you might not like it..Alot of local high schoolers..

Thanks...I love to drag race...might be a place for me then. I think we are going to check it out. It's only 30 minutes from where I live and we have never been, so I think it's time we look into it.

My good friend Spud summed it up pretty good. It has a lot to offer for everyone. Just a little bit of everything if you want. Not a huge riding area, but large enough to have fun. If you are only 30 minutes away then the trip is well worth it. We drive about an hour when we go over. It's worth it for us.

Plan on a large group of younger riders that like to cut up. Nothing wrong with that. You just have to take it for what it is and worry about yourself.

The dragstrip looks to be getting very popular. I have seen as many as 40 or so bikes there on a Sunday afternoon going at it for hours on end. Just good fun.

Good to hear from you buck are you making the trip this weekend? I plan to go down sometime this weekend and cut out the trees at the end of the strip to widen the finish area.. It get pretty hairy getting 3-8 quads to funel into 3 slots at 30-40 MPH.. And going to try to get some trash barrels there also.. hope to see you and your boys there....

Spud,

I replied this last week to your question but I guess it didn't take. I wasn't trying to ignore you.

Anyway, as you probably already know we won't be there yesterday. We are in the process of getting moved into our new building for the business. It will probably be at least two to three weeks before we make it back. I appreciate you asking about us though.

I will drop you a line here and let you know when we will be back.

The guys were glad to hear you were putting some effort into our riding area and taking pride in it. That's something we've talked about doing for awhile now. Wish we could have helped you out.

We were griping all day yesterday thinking about the weather and everyone riding while we were working. Oh well.

See you in a couple weeks.

Buck

Good to hear from ya.. Sorry to hear you had to work.. But then again if you have to move from growth that is a good thing .. Congrats on that..

I talked to GRDA and asked about the trash cans being placed and they said it was cool.. So Im hoping to have 6 55 Gal. barrels in place this weekend.. And spend the day saturday picking up trash and cutting some new trails...We cut two small new hill climb/trails sunday.. By the next time you make it out we should have some good trails and the placed cleaned up..

My bro and bro in law were out there this weekend...they were on a red/white Raptor and a Camo Prairie 700. They had a great time. They said the GRDA helicopter was out in full force...LOL! I can't wait to go check it out myself!

AWESOME!!!

Hey, if you need any barrels let me know. I have probably twenty of them behind my shop. I can get all we need. No sense paying money for them if we can get them for free.

Keep up the good work. It's things like this that will help our cause for keeping riding area open Spud. We can only hope some of the younger crowd that rides there can see the bright light in the future.
