Default illegal emergency?

Hey i have a friend with a predator, his dad with the ds 650 and his other friend with a z250, i just recently got my warrior, and he said (and its true my dad saw them) that they took the quads down stony brook road and drove to mc'donalds with their quads when it snowed, they said because it was considered a state of emergency that if a cop stopped them they could say "i need to get food or else i cant eat" and then the cops would let them go. Is this true? or did they just get lucky?

its only legal if the state declares a state of emergency and when they do that you can ride them on the roads but in the winter around here they dont seem to care aslong as there is still snow on the road. pluss you can easily outrun a police crusier in the snow.

LOL!

A state of emergency and they pick McDonald's to go eat. Not, a supermarket or a Wendy's but McDonald's. I think if it's that bad, the officers will probably have their hands full and let you off. Legal no. I mean why not just let you shoot some type of game out of season. I mean, it will give you food for a few more days then that Big Mac and apple pie

In a situation such as a snow, around here, they really don't pay you no attention. Some are out plowing snow, others are just able to get around easier in a heavy snow situation. If one is out in the snow, and acting resonably sensible, I doubt anything would ever be said

In PA during a Snow emergency you can legally ride on the road if your ATV is Registered and Insured. If not you can easly out run them in the snow,,, Some towns also don't care and you can do it all year round,,,
