My husband and I live in Vegas...near Sunrise mt. We go ride up the street near Vegas Valley and Hollywood. There aren't a lot of people that ride there in the summer but it gets pretty busy during winter.

MoJave88, This may be off the subject, but the wife and I were in the Las Vegas area in April of 2005 and we went on a "Valley of Fire" ATV tour to kill some time. It was very interesting and lots of fun even though it was keyed towards first timers and tourists. Keep in mind we are both in our mid 60s and it's been a few years since my wife has ridden, so it worked out good for her. I still get a leg over an old KTM when I get my friends to go easy on the old timer but I still had problems staying awake on that ride. I recall that the rental place was in Logandale, right off the main drag.
We have plans to be at the UNLVvsNEVADA football game at the end of Sept and we were thinking of making another ride of it. I remember the rental place was in Logandale and the tour people bus you to the staging area but I'm not sure if they let anyone ride unescorted. I'd be interested in meeting riders that can show us more action but I will have to rent a ride and have no way to transport it. If you're in the area and have time to investigate, I'd appreciate any information you could dig up. By the way, we're in Carson City and we're Wolf Pack fans thru and thru, but don't let that effect and future friendship, even if you're a reb.

Thanks for any help, hope to hear from you, you got some great country to ride in.

cool

yes , in logandale, nv is an atv tour co. . thats the guided tour near the valley of fire . in overton [ 5 mins from logandale ] is an atv rental place on the main drag . its an polaris dealership , where i work actually . we rent atvs and then you/customer can ride where ever you want . the logandale system in which you can see the valley of fire is across the street from the dealership - no trailering required . that is the same trails the atv tour co. goes .

glad u had fun out here last visit , hope you come back again .

Someone my husband works for told us about it so we went to check it out yesterday. I'm glad we didnt load everything up because we couldnt find whatever he was talking about. Heard anything about it?
