Default Where does everyone ride around Birmingham Al. ?

I live in Irondale , just outside of Birmingham and looking for places to ride my new ATV .I just bought a Polaris 500 EFI Mossy Oak edition

I went to the Ridge last Sunday but it is more Motorcycle oriented, trails real narrow.

We have been riding between Irondale and Moody by the Cahaba River and old RED Diamond mines

just looking for more places to ride

You might try the Kentuck OHV trails at Talladega National Forest near Anniston. Google it for more information. We rode there today for the second time and had a blast. 26 miles of trails. Trails are not as narrow as The Ridge. Good parking area with facilities. Thakes about a hour from bham to get there. Only $5.00 per atv. There as also the same set-up in the Bankhead National Forest past Cullman.

Some buddies and me went riding today for about 5 hours over one the northside of Trussville at the DEERFOOT PKWY exit off I-59 .
Very good trails, terrain is dort, rocks, bunch of hills, and plenty of water and mud. We had to pass through the Cahaba River about 15-20 times .
Lots of camping spots along the trails that we ran across by the look of old campfires.

We will have to get a ride up to go over their again soon .

My wife and I live in north georgia and our favorite spot is Kentuck orv park in Alabama . Take I-20 east toward Atlanta and get off at exit 185 Anniston/Oxford , turn right go about 2 or 3 miles , turn left ontoBuckhorn rd. . go to end and turn left onto McIntosh rd. . go about a mile , mile and a half turn right onto Kentuck rd. . from here just follow the sign's . $5.00 a day to ride and camping is free . I would rate this place 5 star's , good luck
