NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good morning PSAR!
Been really busy around here, got another bunch of trees on Fed Ex and have been putting them in the ground. Not so many this time, about 40.
Don't know how we ever got along with building fence without a quad around. Super handy work machine. Only have about 400 feet of dog fence to put up and that part of the project is done. Biggest job each day now is watering that hugh garden the girls have put in. Somehow the morning and evening watering has become my project.
53 degrees this morning and supposed to be colder the next few mornings. Big change from the 97 we had a couple days ago in the afternoon. That big storm that went thru raised a dust cloud off the summer fallow fields the likes of which I haven't seen in many years. Temperature dropped from 87 to 63 in less than half an hour. Got about an 1/4 inch of rain which made everything smell nice.
Gotta go change the water.
Have a great day.
Mike

I just went through the same dilema(with the exception of having to worry about a rugrat to get in and out of the back seat) and I ended up getting a toyota extra cab p/u. It's got the gutless 4cyl 22re motor, but it will get me and my quad to the riding area without having to drive my big truck. I LOVE it! I looked at Jeep's, and have driven a few over the years. They are alright, but I am very, very happy I went with the Toyota.
i also bought a toyota extracab pickup a couple months ago (to give the gas guzzling chevy a rest) and i love it. Its a 1994 with the 3.0 liter V6. Its very smooth ad easy to drive/commute with and gets 20mpg city, 23-24mpg highway
i think the 4 runner would be a better pick in your situation
