We've been busy getting things ready in the garden. Kids were out yesterday and again today. Got the big brush pile burned and a bunch of cleanup done in the garden. Raining now and they are washing our living, music room and dining room windows for us. What nice folks they have grown to be. We sure appreciate the way they always seem to want to be doing something for "The Folks".
All this without being asked!!! He's matured into a GREAT kid!!! (no kid any longer)
I paid him by smoking two racks of extra meaty babybacks and he stayed for dinner!

Nate was down for the weekend to help me stack firewood. He then proceeded to mow the lawn, weed eat, blow off the deck and help cart off garbage cans full of yard debris.
All this without being asked!!! He's matured into a GREAT kid!!! (no kid any longer)

Good Morning PSAR!
You are right Hap, been a great weekend. Had a good time with the kids around. Oldest son had some oral surgery last thursday and is back to full speed already.
It's nice when the kids come back and say "thanks" isn't it Rod. Makes you realize that maybe you did some things right while raising them. Kids need to come with an operators manual of some kind.
Lot of clouds again today, hope the rain holds off, got outside stuff that needs doing.

Sounds like it's time to give Nate a call and tell him there are steaks on the BBQ. Little bribery never hurt anything.
Anyone heard from Bill lately? Kind of wondering how he's doing.
Got the last of the risers all set up in the garden area, have just a bit of refilling to do on the trench lines where they settled over the winter and that project is DONE.
Took the pickup, little S-10, in to have the brakes done and a sensor changed. Should get it back this afternoon sometime.
Think I'll spend some time on the new laundry room.
Have as nice a day as it is over here.
