NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good (ice covered) Morning PSAR!
SWMBO and I raced the ice storm back from south of Portland last night. Freezing rain caught up with us around Hood River but didn't start getting bad till we were on the Maryhill Grade just a few miles from home. About 3/8 to 1/2 inch of ice on everything this morning. Dogs can't even get up their ramp to the porch.
Went to Yamhill area and picked up a couple of old, really old, Bolens walk behind tractors and some implements I bought off Craigslist. Interesting old fellow had them. Also got the remains of a third tractor for parts. Some of it is really rare stuff.
Going to Vancouver tomorrow to pick up another garden tractor. Just what we need around her is a third garden tractor with a tiller on the back. I'll restore this one so the boys will have a smaller rig to learn on when they get old enough. Nick, the seven year old, is old enough to drive it now just pulling a little trailer and such. Going to be fun having those two help me fix it up.
So Hap is back to the gym again. Next he'll be riding his bike and jogging. Hap, you need a truck with a clutch in it so you get a little exercise on the job. (grin)
Too much free time eh Rod! Are you back to watching the soaps during the day like when you were laid up? How's that injury doing anyway? Still giving some problems and a bit weak I would suspect. Pain manageable?
Things are good over here, we're going to be painting the hallway today I'm told. Oh goodie!
Mike
