We don't go to Sand Lake anymore, too small, too crowded, too crazy.
Plus the dunes aren't big enough for my liking.

Been a bad day in our little community. We got word from his wife last night that one of the native sons was killed in Iraq late yesterday. He was one of the boys that grew up with our youngest son. Spent a lot of time here while they were still in school and never failed to come visit when he was in the area.

Roadside bomb from what I understand. He leaves a wife and one young son.

He was doing what he wanted, been in Special Forces for a number of years.

Pray for his family please.

Mike

Prayers going out from here Mike.
Give his wife, son and mother and father a big hug from us.
Thank them for his selfless dedication to our country.

Good Morning PSAR!

Cold over here this morning. Just 30 degrees and a west wind is starting to build. Understand you guys got some wind over that way as well. Had a hard blow for several days with monday being the strongest wind we've had in awhile. Lost a couple pieces of roofing that afternoon, just tore sections out of the metal.

Hope you're all OK, I know power has been out in a lot of places up that way.

Have a good one.

Mike

New house is a go for sure, close on the 13th. Now we just have to find a renter for the old house.

Glad to hear things are going the way you want. Do we get to rename you "SlumlordDazeys" now?

It's always a little frightening, for me at least, to sign on the dotted line.

Enjoy your new home.
