We thought maybe he had a broken motor mount so I had him rev the engine while I watched for any unusual engine movement to indicate a broken motor mount. The second time he revved it, it stuck a rod through the oil pan and through the side of the block!!!! I couldn't believe it! Now maybe I can ride my own equipment next time. Got a bit more to do, but it's a start. This ride was great, but I would rather not borrow equipment again. Too much to be responsible for...Hate the headache when something gets scuffed.

Gotta admit, the Honda 400ex did really nicely for me though. Good trail quad. Not so sure it would be enough in the dunes, but perfect for the stuff we were doing this weekend.

Let's see, he's 22 years old, married and a Sergeant in the US Army. No, I think he can take care of himself.
