Good Morning PSAR!

Is there anybody here that knows alot about taxes? They are telling me I can't use the new trailer on my income taxes. Something to do with Schudule A, whatever that is.

are you talking about claiming the tax you paid on it? If so i am thinking we did that w/ my car the 1st year we had it but I want to say they aren't doing that anymore?? The Tax Center in Granite is the people that do my taxs. The reason I went with them is because it's alot cheaper than H&R Block. Anyways, Even though Both Justin and I own the house I usually take it. I have used it the last 2 years for my taxs so I told him since I will have the trailer (which is only in my name) he can take the house. So I get a call yesterday and she says your taxs are ready to sign, but we can't use the trailer, I said whynot, she said because of Schedule A, I said what does that mean, she said you can't use it. Um, ok! Thanks for giving me a answer I can understand. I talked to a gal at work and she said it's probably because my itemized deductions don't go over $5150 (the minimum), since I'm not using the house. I will have to look at the difference tonight.

I already told Justin that he's not claiming the baby on his tax's. LOL We don't file together because he is self employed and has to pay every year.
