WOW I put in 9 hrs today [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] DJ & I stayed late & kicked out some massive salads LOL did 95 in a hour & 1/2 ahhhh now I don't have to go in @ 3am tomarrow [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] he learned to use the meat slicer also, I'm teaching him LOTS as he gets REAL bored w/ the regular job & we can use him big time!! Shoulders still hurt but a fellow co-worker brought me a pain pill so that helped [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
Found out today that for the next 2 weeks we are going to try a different schedule, well not me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img], some are going to be working Sun.-Thurs. I will stay M-F since I am the 2nd delivery driver so that is cool [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] some aren't happy of course but that's life I guess?

MAN what ALOT of water everywhere [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] My Dad had to come home early from working in Mt. Vernon due to I-5 closure, my niece's Mom & her are stuck in Stanwood as they evacuated the nursing home she works at, my driveway had a river going down it not too bad now but screwed the gravel up, & the ditches on our road are filling up, our drainage still seems to be working good [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I feel sorry for the folks on the other side of the road they are soaked!!

i was trying to head south on 9 and the guy started setting up signs to block the road,,,had to go around

 

This morning 530 was closed, so I had to go up the jordan Rd. to Granite Falls to get to work. I came back down the Burn Rd. and out 530 from Arlington to Island Crossing. I had to slow down where the big nursery is to let some plants and pallets float by. The on ramp to I-5 north was closed. I had to go to Smokey Point to get on I-5 north. Once at work there was talk of I-5 closing so they sent everyone home. I've worked 3 days since Dec. 14th. I showed up everyday but was told to go home. It's okay as they pay me anyway.

 

Water, water everywhere!!

 

It will be a crowded drive to work tomorrow as everyone who uses Hiway 9 south will now be using the trestle, including me.

 

The Pilchuck River is higher than I have ever seen it and it appears to still be rising.

high tide was 12:48 pm
