Talking Jackson Co. Wisc-planning a trip

Hi All,
We are planning a trip to the Jackson/Clark Co. riding trails in Wisc. Anyone have any info on this area? Is is ok for younger kids (10 yrs), are the trails aggressive or rough, what are some good trails to take and can we make a couple of days out of it? Thanks for any help you can give!

We stay at the BRF Best western, has a campground next to it also. Mention atv discount at hotel get 10% off. We prefer the Jackson trails. They are more woods and turns and a few puddles. Clark is more open. Clark has a bit of road riding also like over to Neilsville. There is a place called the Bunkhouse I hear is fun but I hear is more of a party place. Between the 2 counties is a w/e of riding. Have done it all (the main trails) in a day but was like 200 miles.
Have seen young kids on it.

Thanks for your input. I just wanted to be sure it's not too aggressive for younger ones, I saw on their web that it was geared towards families vs racing and such. We took a trip last year to Seymore Mo and it was nice but most of it consisted of steep hill climbs and was just too much for our son (me too!). Thanks again!

Will be fine. Pretty easy. A 10 year old can only ride up to a 90cc I believe though & has to be off machine when crossing roads or under adult control.

The BRF trails are great for the family. Just stay away from the Bunkhouse, alot of drinking there. It might be fun if your adult, but no place for kids.

We've gone to BRF in the past partly because the trails are so easy for kids to ride. The only real trail danger is other ATV traffic or perhaps crossing one of the many gravel roads in the area. Be aware that as of this year all kids must have proof of an ATV safety course to ride. I think that rule holds true for anyone born after 1988. You can take a Wisconsin safety course on-line to meet the requirement.

Currently there is some trail construction that blocks access between Clark county trails and Jackson county trails - but they have only been closing sections during the week and opening them up on weekends.
