I heard about a former volunteer cop / Marine who was also a juvenile corrections officer for a couple of years who got a $250 fine 500' from his house...

in the process...

now mass actually charges you $25 to appeal a ticket- and if you don't pay the appeal charge after you have requested a hearing, they attach penalty fees and a possible license suspension onto the original citation So you better make damn sure you want to appeal the ticket before requesting that hearing- and of course you don't get back your $25 if you win the appeal

only in focking mass!

I cannot wait until someone with money to blow can appeal this law and take it to the higher courts. There is just something so wrong about having to pay for the right to assert your innocence.

So even if the cop is wrong, makes a mistake or is just plain busting *****....you still have to pay. Unbelievable.

Ugh....I'm going to check my calendar to see how many more days I have to live in this corrupt, liberal dictatorship.

I would love to see it! "Beergut goes ballistic on beacon hill" on the front page of the globe!
