Maby that has all changed with the new laws and fines. But that has been my experience in the past.
that was my experience up until 2 weeks ago

Yea but I thought you were on the side of the road, and the guys you were helping were running the road. Guilty by association thats all. Hate to say it but I bet if you did not help them it would of been a long time before you got a ticket.
I think it was about a 1.5 months ago Cudavic was telling me he was driving down the side of the road. Passed a cop who was parked watching traffic and all he got was a friendly wave . Hows that for good luck?

Hubbardston is just like most of the towns in this part of the state. Lots of good trails. You just need to know someone local so you have a safe place to park.

Was it the douglas pd that gave you the ticket? My friend had the same thing happen to him in douglas in front of his house during a blizzard 2 years ago. Stupid!

yep- I wasn't even on the road (or property they said I was on)

I was a good 15-20' in the woods and actually walked up to them when I saw them pull up- had blood all over me from the barbed wire I got caught in.

Welcome back to the team! Looks like a nice ride. We'll see you on the trail next weekend.

Today we did about 43 miles up at Pisgah. Troyboy, CNC, BGirard, Me, Roadie, Paul. Really like riding this place. Has a bit of everything: Wide open trails, crazy technical rock climbs, fun woodsy trails. You can't get bored here. Special thanks to Roadie for breaking down so we had an excuse to leave early before the hurricane hit.

Here's some pictures:
