Rhode Island ATV Riding
#11
Ride locally on a small trail, it's part of a state owned land but have ridden there with my kid on his 150 Chinese quad and his Yerf Dog buggy. Ran into state troopers one day unloading the quad and they stopped to ask me whats going on and I said just out with the kid, he said "have a good one" and left. The area is also used by hikers and dog walkers, so you have to be conscious not to scare the walkers or the dogs. Not very long trails but a mix of open wide dirt roads and some tight quad/bike trails.
Would love to find some trails to ride longer distances as we just got a Kawi Prairie.

I started this thread to find some riders local to me (all my friends sold their atv's for sport bikes- now wish they had their atv back!)- I've had a handful of guys from this forum come over for a day of riding-

i moved out of the nanny state a long time ago.
there's no place to ride your atv in mass, ct or ri- they are outlawed, even on your own property! i moved to nh where you're treated like an adult by your city / state. so, i cant help you.... other than recommending you sell the atv and buy a bicycle, canoe or take up jogging. 😂 (sorry- it's just the reality of where you live. drug dealers are favored more than atv riders!)
