RAC (Reading Anthracite) Trails, Pa.
#11
There is too much game and private land between St Clair and Trevorton to make it an enjoyable ride. Every employee that checked my tow vehicle was extremely friendly and very helpful. The 901 Pub can be accessed from the darkwater trails and even has its own atv parking. Google 901 Pub on google maps and you can see its real close.

I have been riding the trails for around 20 years, I grew up in pottsville. There are enough trails that you can get almost anywhere in schuylkill county if you know your way. The terrain varies we have coal, sand, gravel, larger sandstone rocks, endless mud if thats your thing. it really depends on what your looking for. Its a great place to ride but there are also places that dont always take so kindly to outsiders. If your polite, not arrogant and don't litter than you will have a great time. Sadly more often than not you run into bad apples that trash things but that happens. If i could suggest anything if you come bring a good set of tires 6 ply and up and plenty of plugs. Alot of shale that shreds tires especially if you like hill climbs. For atvtrailfinder there is now an actual parking lot on burma road as you go through St Claire. There is a big sign for Reading anthracite trail parking. If anyone has any other questions like where to stay and whatnot feel free to pm me. I go riding almost every weekend so let me know if your coming and ill show you to what your looking for.
