does anyone have info on the salamanca rides this year?

 

First ride is Sat. May 5, then July 28, then Sept. 29. I got these dates off their website while hunting down riding info./places/racing etc. on the web. I've yet to go to the Sala. ride but heard from friends who have gone its a great challenging trail. Although I believe they are only having one loop this year. I was hoping they were holding them on Sundays (I believe they used to be) cause Sat. are tough for me. When I find their site address again, I'll post it for ya. Also, a couple of harescrambles coming this year if your into trailracing.

 

I called out there a few weeks ago and so far the only date they have set is April 28th, which is a saturday. Their phone number is 716-945-2730

No, it was a page just on the dice run and had a bunch or red devil faces in the backround. I spent over 2hrs. thursday night trying to find it again and no luck yet. Those were the 2001 dates they had cause I wrote them all on my calender.

 

I went to salamanca for 3 years now, and it is the best ride i have ever been on. I would suggest everyone to go there this year. They change the trail from date to date but every trail is AWESOME! If you go, plan to go in the spring plan to get muddy.

I just spoke to someone at the fire department in Salamanca today and here are the dates for the dice-runs this year.
April 28th
July 21st
October 20th
All these dates fall on Saturdays.

 

what are the requirements to participate? Age? insurance? registration?

 

No insurance or registration is required for this run. On the age requirements, for younger people there was an parent/guardian sign off on the registration form. But this run can be a handful for the younger kids!
