I did everything you mentioned, but still needed a choke in my opinion. Everything is new, to where there shouldn't be any air, elect., fuel problems. I just read where the Suzuki KQ's are hard starting when cold. Need a manual choke override to help where the electronic controls to the carb need help!

That is the injectors job to squirt fuel into the cylinder, more when engine is cold. If hard starting then efi needs reprogramed to add more fuel based on temp. When adjusted correctly, temp will make no difference. Same at high elevation, adjusts fuel mix as needed. Talk to your dealer about reprogramming the efi system. Cant add a choke or primer to an efi system. Whether cold or hot the system should adjust fuel and timming so it starts like summer time.
Looked up battery reviews, and many buyers boast of 7-10 yr reliability. This brand seems one of the best!

I've always considered CCA, but after doing a little research, that's not the only thing that's important, when trying to find a solid long lasting battery, like charging time, durability/bouncing around, different posts/location/some without? cold/hot temps where some are not designed for extremely cold weather etc
That battery with tax (not counting the core charge) is $74.20 more than the one I bought. That's almost enough money left in my pocket to pay for my ATV battery, $79.80 delivered to my door in 5-7 days (fingers crossed). I only have to come up with another $5.60. This battery also has a 3-year warranty. It has 875 cranking amps instead of 910, and 700 CCA instead of 720, but the reserve is 100 minutes. That's 10 minutes longer than the more expensive battery. It has 4.7 stars out of 425 reviews. The last one lasted 8 years and I bought the same kind again. The original battery lasted over 10 years and died in the winter. Then the replacement died this winter. It was only the second battery my truck ever had. It's a 2001 Silverado 4x4 that I bought in 2000, so this is my 19th winter. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...=75ft3+battery
I've never had a corrosion problem on a vehicle with a sealed battery and I don't grease the terminals. When I start my ATV I turn the key on and wait until I hear the fuel pump priming. At least I think that's what the sound is. If my battery isn't dead and in need of replacement it cranks 2 or 3 times and fires up. It usually runs perfect when I start it, but when I had to pull start it to plow that big mess we had, it only ran for a few minutes and stalled out. Then I started it with the key and it sounded great, like it was ready for a ride, but I let it idle a little, then revved it up for a minute to hopefully charge up the battery before I started using the winch to do all that plowing.
That's wasn't the battery I bought but it looks about the same. The website said it's an exact fit for my truck, and my receipt says 75FT3, but I looked at my battery today and it's actually this 78FT-2 battery that's even better. It has 1,000 amps, 800 CCA, and a 110 minute reserve. All 3 of those numbers are better than that expensive Optima battery.
I have had good luck with Walleyworld batteries, in years back the Sears diehard couldnt be beat but then Sears started going downhill fast. Switched to wallyworld and have no issues, cant beat the price either. I bought a sealed agm battery for my grandaughters rideon atv. Much faster and doubled run time for 40 bucks shipped to my front door. They sold them as an upgrade to powerwheels batteries. That battery is 8 yrs old and still like new. I use it for my electric trolling motor in my pond and also for my 30 gallon lawn sprayer. Same size as the Utv battery, will consider buying another for the UTV next fall.

The overgrown squirrel in Punxsutawney didn't see his shadow yesterday, predicting an early spring, but he's wrong 60% of the time. What do you expect from a woodchuck anyway?
