Who is the luckiest guy around? That would be me today! When we got back to the rigs yesterday I looked in my dry box on the quad for the keys to my truck (and my house key, work keys, work truck, etc.) but after removing everything from the box I still couldn't find the keys. I used my spare to get in the truck, thinking I might have locked them inside, but still couldn't find them. I figured I had put them in my jacket pocket instead of the box and then lost them on the trail somewhere. Not a real big deal since I have spares for everything, but still a pain. This morning while I was going over everything we did yesterday I remembered looking through the dry box to find a knife to make a hot dog stick with at lunch and I wondered if I had pulled the keys out then and set them on the front of the quad. I thought there might be a chance that they had fallen down through a vent hole and got stuck somewhere so I went out to the truck and looked under the quad. Sure enough, sitting under the front diff on the skid plate were my keys. They had ridden over 20 miles including river crossings, hill climbs, and general horsing around, and were still there this morning! Might have to go buy a lottery ticket today.

 

Lucky is about right. Hope it keeps on keepin on!

So anyone have any info about this CdA Polaris ride on Sunday the 23rd? I'm looking on their website for info but not finding anything. So where are these places? Directions? Places to park? What should we bring?

CDA Polaris Hosted Ride
Location: Meeting at Bunco Parking Lot
Time: 9:45am riding off from the parking lot at 1030am

Details:
Meeting at Bunco Parking Area at 9:45am Leaving the parking lot at 1030am
This ride is in conjunction with CDA Polaris - We will ride from the Bunco parking lot to Happy Hermit for lunch and then return.
Cheese Burger and Fries $6.50 All other menu items will have a longer wait.
There will be a lot of ATVs on this ride so plan to have some fun. CDA POLARIS will be giving away $500 in ATV Accessories to folks who attend and donate to or join the club.


Head north on Hwy 95 out of Coeur d'Alene. Take a right on Bunco rd. (it's across from the rollercoster at Silverwood Theme Park approx 12 miles).
Fallow Bunco Rd to the Parking area. (It is well signed.)
It's going to get crowded. Look for overflow parking areas.

Not sure what you'd like to bring. It's about a 30 mile ride to the Happy Hermit and back.

 

Has anyone been out to Lake Elsie lately ??

Last question...... what kind of ORV tags do we need to ride legally for this one?

I've called the Idaho DMV & they <u>can</u> issue an ID registration & license plate for our ATVs that are owned & registered in WA.

And I also called Inland Paper & they issue individual & family permits to ride on their property.

Which one do we need to attend this ride? Or are there others?
