Hey guys; Nancy is a friend of mine and a darned good rider. She works at Sacred Heart in the ICU so be real nice to her because you never know when you will crash and wake up looking up from the bed at Nancy heehee.

Now if we could just get her away from the evil forces of Polaris,,,,,,

Rockwoman and I had a great time yesterday. It was great seeing all of you out on the trail. Good times.

We spent the better part of the afternoon looking for that same present you got me last year.... couldn't find it.
Happy Birthday!

Thanks for making me feel welcome. Where are the meetings by the way? I look forward to meeting everyone and especially hearing what the Forest service rep has to say. See you there......

Wiz and I and the rest of our group decided we wanted to sleep in a bit more, plus wait for someone to get off work, so we showed up a bit later than the rest of you guys. We still had a great time despite the dust, and the fact that out of about 15 people not one of us won a single raffle item even though some other kid won something with all four of his tickets. Something fishy there. We had a pretty diverse group with Suzukis, Yamahas, Kawasakis, and Polarisis. Of course the real quads were singled out from the crowd when we got to the fork in the road with the sign that said beginner/novice this way and advanced/expert the other. The two Vinsons were the only brave ones in the group, even the auto with two people on it! It turned out to not be a very big deal in the end, didn't even have to put it in 4, but it was a fun little diversion. Kinda reminded me of Three Rocks. Speaking of Three Rocks, almost time for a ride up that way Wiz?

Note to self: Next year at Smelterville - Go early. Leave helmet at home. Bring a dozen dust masks. Don't waste money on raffle tickets. A half rack ain't enough. Get to the elk chili feed early. Park right up front to avoid the rush later. Don't stand in the doorway of the bar if you want to avoid the horses coming through. Expert only trails are no tougher, it just feeds certain ego's.

Niskibum - thanks for telling us what Idaho Foreplay is all about!

Great ride on saturday! had 3 kings in one hand and pair of aces in the other... flushed both at the last stop. oh well still had a good time (not counting trying to wrestle that big fat pig of a KLR up that rutted out hill after Nichole came to a complete stop in front of me. I'm not sure who was behind me (Viper and freinds?) but thanks for your help. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, but I couldn't help thinking I would have had a much better time on a quad. On a positive note, Nichole really had a blast, and since WA says my KING is half hers anyway, I now am selling the KLR in order to buy another quad (for me of course) Yeehah baby! Maybe a Bomb this time?
Viper65- it was cool meeting you sorry we kind of lost track of you after the sign in. Definitlely lets get together for some rides. Oh yeah..1st gear would have been better, but I was a little tense after almost wheelying sideways off the mountain, thought maybe 2nd might work. Thats what I get for thinking. and Happy Birthday!!
Niskibum and Wizonkiz- sorry we missed you... did you wind up taking the Rhino? We saw a few out there and they look like a hoot!

Scramblher; welcome to the forums and the club, hope to see you on the trails sometime again, sorry we never got a chance to get together last summer again, hopefully this year will work out better.

Niskibum; I think me an ol’ Sal are heading up North this weekend to go camping and Rhino riddin’ in a state that welcomes Rhino’s, unlike some others that I know of!!! It mainly depends on the weather forecast, iffin’ we don’t go maybe Three Rocks could beckon, if not how’s your schedule for weekend after next?

Mtnman; That’s a pretty good plan to get rid of that KLR, I’m sure you and the wife will really enjoy having your own four wheelers much more. Sorry we missed riding with you and the rest of the club, but as Jeff mentioned, we were too lazy to get up that early to meet all you guys, the only regret was that we missed out on the Elk Chili, it was all gone by the time we made it there.

And finally Rockman, once again, you’re welcome to use some of my PICTURES for the club website again if you wish.
