Hi Everyone,

Since some of these events might be happening over that way, I thought I would post this info here for you guys and girls too if you are interested.

The Pacific Northwest ATV Racing Association is in it's very introductory stages. The goal is to create a Cross Country ATV Racing series in the Pacific Northwest for the 2005 Racing season. Thoughts are to have a 6 race series with points accumulated for season championships. Races would be held at various locations around the Pacific Northwest. Possible locations are Goldendale, Richland, Longview and Morrow County ORV park. All races would be Grand Prix, Hare Scrambles, or Cross Country.
Dean Waters with Off-Road.com is working hard to get this organized. He is looking for suggestions and input from racers and people who would be interested in these types of events.
Here is a link with more info and to leave input of what you would like to see happen.

Back in town! Mike, Jim, and I, and whomever else, are heading out Sat and coming back Sun night. My hopes are to ride Elsie Lake again to see if we can make it through the snow and then pack up and head North of Wallace to camp.

Not a big fan of driving the trailer too far into Elsie. Just past Sunshine mine there is a gravel pit to park and ride. One ride is a loop around the lake supposedly and the other goes past a mine and over to Silver Mt. (about a 2hr ride). The road going into the lake is very narrow and not many place to back out or turn around.

Usually camp around the Moon Pass area and have also camped around the Shefoot area. Too big to describe.

Should I keep everyone posted or do ya'll have plans this weekend?

Sounds like a great ride. Unfortunately I get off a 12.5 hour shift at 0730 Saturday morning and will need to sleep.
I will be up for a shorter local ride though Saturday afternoon, maybe around 1:00 or so if anyone is interested.
Sunday's are always booked with church with the family.

Raptorchick ~ that sounds lika allot of fun!! I am fairly new to this world of entertainment so I don't know what input I would have. Please keep up updated!

Quicksilver ~ I was in CE while stationed @ Elmendorf 95-99. I worked in the "BOM", CEMAS store and material control office. Do you still have those shops around? I loved every minute of it!! Do you do any trail riding?? Your pics are you out @ 7 mile right??

AJC ~ Long trips are going to be out of the question for me this weekend, which stinks because I have a 4 day weekend and wanted to go camping. But please keep us up to date on your trip, you talked about that area before.

Ragged and Everyone Else ~ I am off Monday AND Tuesday!!!! Lets ride some of these trails around here. Jay ~ I would love to take a chain saw and see where you went!!!! I can't seem to get enough of Canfield!! I will ride anywhere I can drive to with in a hour or two!!

Where has Pastor been?? Havn't heard from him in a while! I know he has been pretty busy these days!!

Hey GWP ya we still have those around! I love trail riding, thats all I did back home and still do when I go on leave back home on my Dads 400 and 700 sportsmans. I just bought the Raptor for something different. The pic's are from 7 mile, its the only place I know where to ride. I heard there is a ORV park in Liberty Lake but I haven't been there yet. Its hard to go riding anywhere far away cause I work 7 days a week, but I get off at noon M-F.

quicksilverz71;

The "orv park" by liberty lake does in fact exist. I went there for just a few minutes last year when I first got my Rincon. Looked to be trails in the woods, (nice) as compared to a wide open riding area. If you go to one of the local gas stations, they should be able to tell you how to get to the parking area. I'm taking my wife & two youngest up there Sunday afternoon to check it out.
