Going on the record for my 2001 Raptor, yes 2001.

1. Many Many hours of fun with whom ever will ride!
2. Its been riden hard and well maintained (Still looks brand new).
3. Few bolt on mods (Grab Bar, Trail Tech, and GYT-R Slip On)
4. Very Fast (72mpg on verified trail tech with just slip-on and my 215# a$$, no jetting/airbox/gearing changes)
5. GYT-R Jet Kit and Pro-Flow adapter/filter still in the box (Not enough time to down her right now. Will do in the colder months).
6. 0 let me repeat 0, one more time 0 hours down for repairs!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a great quad.

Sorry, it just makes me laugh with all this faster, better, sportier, looks better. Hell, I don't care what the other guy is riding, as long as he/she likes to have fun and is willing to swap stories afterwords! I ride with a few guys, by brother-in-law who has a 02 400ex, friend who has a 99 400ex, friend that has an 01 Raptor (now he's had problems, but his fingers in there MIGHT have something to do with it) and some other guys we see where we ride with 400ex's, a Z and a Banshee. I just like to have fun riding with them all!

Your right it all boils down to having fun and hauling a$$. Diversity is what makes us and our bikes different, my brother has a warrior and would not change for the world. It was fun to give pred530 a little ribbing yesterday because he was so serious.

Is Pure Polaris the equivalent of GYTR?

 

I actually don't know what GYTR is. Pure Polaris is accessories, clothing, what not sold directly from Polaris Industries. For instance, there is a Pure Polaris slip-on pipe, but Polaris contracted WB to build it and Polaris sells it. The did the same thing for the Maxxis Razr's. They have the lettering "PR" on them, for Polaris Racing. But you can buy these same things from them (Maxxis) but with different lettering.
