Default grease gun?

i bought one of those 17 dollar grease guns at an auto parts store. Good gun, however im a little confused. The grease cartridge is in and its all ready to grease some fittings. Only problem is...at the end of the pipe where there is an adaptor looking piece and hole i am not sure if that adaptor is a "one size fits all kind of adaptor" I looked in some stores and did not see those pieces for sale in different sizes. So im guessing there all the same. And when i put it to the zerk. Is it kinda supposed to snap around it and hold itself on the zerk or what? i practiced on my warrior...it popped it and held itself in but i had some trouble pulling it out. I had to swing it up and down untll i reached an angle that wouldnt rotate around the ball. Sorry if this is confusing but im an amateur at using a grease gun.

Thanks for any help/warrior

LOL warrior86!!!

I had the same problem!!! never used a grease gun much...(actually never greased the old warrior I had at all)LOL

You should have seen me trying to figure this thing out!!! I had more grease on me and the quad then I did in the bushings!!!

But to answer your question... He|| I don't know still trying to figure it out myself LOL

I was just glad to see that someone else had the same problem!!!

If the end of the grease gun, the part that goes on the fitting, is two piece then you can loosen it up.

Just hold the back part of the tip and turn the front part counterclockwise.

Luckily, mine was two piece b/c I had the same problem.
