also im new and dont know much about 2 strokes where would i get my head shave and where would i get it ported?

 

Porting needs to be done by a good 2 stroke shop, there are a ton of em. Price varies with experience and quality. Head shaving can be done by any good automotive machine shop (you can probably find 20 in your town, but you need to find out how much to shave to get specific compression ratios for your motor before you go) and dosent cost much as long as you dont get enough to need it rechambered. The 240 kit, is made by... ct I think?!?!. Its a few thousand dollars I think though.

 

my wifes blaster has a toomey pipe kit,vforce reeds,and 20inch tires,stock gearing.thats it.
ive beat 3 differant piped,jetted, air box modded warriors with very good riders in 350ft race.i beat them every time we have raced.

 

Vitos makes a nice 240 kit for about $600, i think they might do porting too im not sure, as for shaving the head u can just take it to a machine shop and have them do it, it takes about 5minutes. With a 240 kit, pipes, filter, reeds and spacer, and maybe change the gearing, bigger carb would be a must and u should be able to take a banshee with pipes!

i would get holeshots all around, bore it over about .50, rejet it and get some pipes and an airfilter, probly spend about $1000, then see whos laughing.
