I tryed the tube method to check the float level and it lined up with the mating surface of the bowl, which is correct btw. But when i took my bowls off, turned the carb upside down the floats are a a slant, not level, but sorta pointing down. Is this right?

 

Pointing down toward the float hinge or pointing down from the float hinge? Mine are set a little above spec and point down toward the float hinge but the clear tube shows they are on the money with C12 race gas. Trust the clear tube, it doesn't lie.

 

The float's are sorta pointing down toward's the floor, there not level by what the manual says but i will go with the clear tube on this one.

 

Are you haveing issues with the floats?? Like while riding wheelies? I had to adjust mine and I set them to be level with the float bowl just like you are describing and it works very well. I think mine are still pointing a little down as well.

 

O no problems with wheelies just that i rev it and she smokes i couldnt figure out what it was, Do you have to tune each pilot screw individually? gyt-r reccomends 2 turns out on the right one and 3 on the left it says since the raptor is a single cylinder that only the left pilot screw should be adjusted, wtf up wit dat?

 

Well if you look at my pics page you can see my jetting and mods. I have the gytr kit and I am not running 2 and 3 turns. What is your jetting and exhaust/filter set up right now??
