YFZ top speed of 74 mph

I think the higher gearing thing is possible. Bombardier said they geard the DS650 way down to keep it under the CSPC's guidline of 75mph. Bombardier said with the gearing the machine was meant to have it would do around 85mph.

A stock raptor is around 74.5mph and a stock raptor is close to 76mph. There's always going to be variations from one quad to another and the terrain you're on, if you going sligtly uphill or sligtly downhill, the wind even has an affect if you've got a strong wind at your back.

According to my trail tech, top speed was 74mph with 12 tooth front sprocket, Yoshimura and no lid. Slightly down hill. Stock probably 72mph. I would think the 450 would be slightly less, but what do I know, I haven't ridden one, yet.

OK sorry but who cares? I can gear up the Banshie to run 100 but it would be unridable except on black top and at top speed. This bike is about acceleration, getting the power to the ground and working in rough terain. No MX quad will do more than about 50 when they are geared to race.

I guess you've never rode at any of the MX tracks in the midwest cause if your "race quad" will only run 50 then you'll never be able clear half the jumps at our tracks. Last time I checked mine would run in the 68mph range and its setup for MX.

I hope your not talking about that junky Predator you have. I am sorry but I have heard too many bad things about them. Man the Predator comes just about maxed out with performance parts and you have the engine like maxed now. I wont be surprised if the motor goes. The thing about the Raptor is that it comes restricted and if it wasn't, the Predator would never be a Predator, more like Prey. The Predator comes with the motor almost maxed out and plus its Polaris cheap. On top of it, it looks identical to the Raptor even though its cheap and junk. If you have a Polaris, dont brag about it. I would rather have a 2 stroke then a Polaris, less maintenance. Lmao a Maxed out Polaris motor.
