banshee clutch help...

Default banshee clutch help...

i am having trouble with the clutch on my shee... last year i installed a barnett and put all 5 sprongs on... tis made my clutch really hard to pull but it seemed to grab really hard... now i am in need of a new clutch i have smoked my other one... it still grabs but slips badly... when i pull in my clutch it doesnt disengage the cluth all the way... i was wandering if anybody had any ideas???

Default banshee clutch help...

If you have a lot of freeplay in your handle you need to adjust the clutches either by the handle or at the at the cases. If this does not make it better the clutches are just wore out. The next time you install new clutches take your steel plates and scuff them up on concrete or get some real heavy grit sandpaper. You'll be supprised at how much better your clutches will pull. my levaer is ajusted out as far as i can go... i know i do need a new clutch but i figured that the more worn out it got the easier it would disengage... when i am in gear with the cluth pulled in and rev my bike it wants to leap forward.. not really bad but very noticable...
