I know on the WR 450 two wheeler, there is a mod that allows you to access the YZ ignition curve by cutting a grey wire that leads into the CDI. It changes the signal that the CDI recieves and tells it to use another curve.

Is this something that will be possible on the YZF 450? A freind bought one, and I have rode it shortly, but haven't looked it over well enough to see if this is possible.

If you want to look up this mod, look at two wheeler web sites, and search for "Grey Wire Mod". You should be able to find out tons of info.
